Yesterday was my final workout for my 1st week of Vertical Mastery. Here’s what I thought:
Previous nights sleep: 9 hours
Wake time: 8:30 am
Morning weight: 167 lbs
Workout: Today had some weighted squats and jumps but nothing too heavy.
Weightlifting: The squats were more for speed and explosion and weren’t too heavy. They were definitely VERY tiring though.
Eating/Nutrition: I’m pretty happy with how I ate today. I stuck to my usual breakfast of eggs and toast with natural PB, lunch of chicken and veggies with a little pasta, and had more chicken and pasta for dinner. I’ll watch the pasta in the future.
Recovery: I rested and stretched after my workout today so that was an improvement. It actually felt really good to stretch afterwards, hopefully I stick to this.
Asleep time: 11:30 pm
Notes/Observations: Today was definitely the hardest Vertical Mastery workout so far. My legs are pretty tired and I’m sure I’ll be sore tomorrow. I liked doing weighted exercises since I hadn’t done any so far.
