Finished my second Vertical Mastery workout yesterday and I am really liking this program. Here’s what I thought about my day:

Previous nights sleep: 9 hours
Wake time: 8:30 am
Morning weight: 168
Workout: Yesterday’s workout let me just go out and practice dunking while working on my jumping movement efficiency.
Weightlifting: No weightlifting today
Eating/Nutrition: I hit pretty close to my target of 2500 calories but let myself indulge on a burger since it was finally nice enough to grill outside. I’ll try to stay away from this stuff as the summer goes on. Otherwise I just ate eggs, fruit, chicken, veggies, and drank water.
Recovery: Had a post-workout shake but didn’t really take the time to ice and stretch again since I had to run to work.
Asleep time: 11 pm
Notes/Observations: I’m really happy with yesterday’s workout. I honestly felt like I was jumping higher than I was during testing but I’m sure it’s from getting in better shape and having more energy.
Today's grade: 9/10
